Who am I?
My name is Damian Patyk and I am a cloud professional. For over 5 years I have been configuring, implementing and managing solutions based on the Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure platform. Nowadays, I work as a guardian guy (IT Security) and make sure that users feel secure while working on their devices.
What do I do?
Much of my job is like playing MineSweeper - constantly improving and finding new areas to protect within the organization. Deploying Yubico security keys, enhancing Conditional Access policies, or rolling out and securing a new cloud infrastructure based on Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) are some of the tasks I deal with on a daily basis.
By the way, I’m also the sad guy you have to talk to when you click on the wrong attachment or download Need for Speed on the corporate-owned device 🎲
Why am I writing this blog?
Well, I certainly wanted a place to redirect people who have the pleasure of assaulting me with their questions on Signal or even over my phone. It’s also an extra motivation for me to keep learning and a showcase for LinkedIn recruiters.
